CUSTOMIZATION

While the Lagun Table Leg system offers a variety of parts, we are not able to customize beyond our current options.

Right Hand vs. Left Hand leg handle position

Some customers find that they have limited space when installing their Lagun system and may need the leg handle on a specific side. There is no difference in the functionality of the system between the two options. This option pertains to the leg (vertical piece) only.

This decision has nothing to do with which side of your RV or boat you are mounting the bracket. When making this choice, face the location you want to install the Lagun Table Leg System and factor whether vertical adjustments can be made without encountering obstacles in your RV or boat, that could potentially break the handle. Please see PHOTO for reference.

Standard Bracket vs. Sliver/Narrow Bracket

The Sliver/Narrow Bracket may be preferred for a smaller installation area or for aesthetic purposes, as it’s “invisible” behind the leg for a cleaner look.

Regardless of which bracket is selected, the Lagun Table Leg system can support up to 50 lbs (40 lbs if using Folding TMP). The bracket should be installed on a solid vertical surface, as the system is only as solid as the bracket installation. All bolt holes should be utilized.

Folding TMP vs. Standard TMP

The Folding TMP allows the tabletop to be tilted or “folded” and swung out of the way for storage, instead of having to disassemble the system.  The Folding TMP can support up to 40 lbs and a tabletop up to 24″ x 36″.  Comparatively, the Standard TMP can support up to 50 lbs and a tabletop up to 30″ x 40″.  These weight limits include the weight of the tabletop plus anything placed on top of it.  The Folding TMP is 7 – 7/8″ x 7 – 7/8″, while the Standard TMP is 9 – 7/16″ x 7 – 7/8″.

Leg Options

The Standard Leg is the most commonly used leg style & works for most applications.

The Double Handled Leg is the same length as the Standard Leg but offers more vertical adjustment range.

The Longer Leg has the same adjustment range as the Standard Leg but is 8″ longer.  This is considered a specialty leg and is too tall for most applications.

QUICK TIP:  A common oversight is measuring from the floor & forgetting this system is not mounted on the floor.  The distance above the floor the Bracket is installed will add to the overall height of the system.

Installation Clearances

A. From bottom of Leg to top of TMP. This measurement + tabletop thickness is the total overall height of system.
B. From bottom of Leg to top of Arm.
C. From bottom of Leg to bottom of Arm. This measurement would be the height required to swivel the Arm over an object.
D. From side of Standard Bracket to edge of Leg handle. Sliver Bracket would be hidden behind Leg = Measurement E.
E. From side of Leg to edge of handle.
F. Arm overhangs Leg 7/8″ at connection point. If mounting flush to vertical surface, Bracket must be shimmed out at least 1″ to allow enough clearance for Arm to swivel / pivot.
G. Length of Arm overall. Center to center bushings (pivot points) = 12 3/4″.
H. From bottom of Arm to top of TMP. This measurement + tabletop thickness would be the amount of space needed to store tabletop when not in use.
